Michael Thomas DeCristofer, 83, a lifelong resident of Lake Forest, owner and operator of DeCristofer Landscaping, died April 22, 2018 at Lake Forest Hospital. Husband of Cookie nee Wiegold, Father of Michele (Leonard) Hinojosa of New Braunfels, TX and Marianne Wilson of Chicago. Grandfather of Michael (Lauren) Lundy, Lauren Lundy, and Taylor Wilson. Great grandfather of Olivia, Laine & Tessa Lundy. Son of the late Thomas & Celeste DeCristofaro, Brother of the late Carmela Stella and John DeCristofer. Mike is also survived by a large extended family. Visitation from 6 p.m. until the 8 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, April 24 at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park. Interment will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25 at Lake Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lake Forest Fireman’s Association, 255 E.
