Francine Scully Lippitz, nee Hirsch, born June 15, 1934, daughter of Victor and Rose, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on April 17, 2022. Stepdaughter of Jean, sister of Iris, loving aunt to many, cherished wife of late husbands Ira Friedman and Richard Scully. Beloved mother of Marcia (Will), Ross (Nancy), Rick (Marcelle), Mitchell (Jackie), Gail (Randall), Gwen (Mike), cherished Gam of Molly (Marshall), Greg, Graham, Kevin (Lauren), Jessie, Carrie, Grace, Sam, Jacob, Nancy, Joseph, Nadav, Boaz, adoring GiGi of Parker Gregory. Fran was absolutely devoted to her family, and they to her. Survived by Herbert Lippitz, spouse and his children Brad (Yoni), Jon (Shari), Stefen (Kay), Deena (Keith), and grandchildren Melanie, Joshua, Gabrielle, Jeremy, Max, Jack, Sammi, Jordin, Drew, Orli, Miles, Belle, Emmet, Lev, Aviva. Fran was very involved in Judaic studies and became a Bat Mitzvah at age 60. She traveled the world extensively pursuing her love of photography. Fran was a truly compassionate, thoughtful, and generous soul. She is deeply loved by all that were blessed to know her, as she extended herself to others in a way that was unequaled. Memorial and burial services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2022, Lake Forest Cemetery, 1525 Lake Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045.
